WYRE FOREST TAIKO
The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre, Stourport Road, Bewdley, Worcs. DY12 1BL.
Wyre Forest Taiko started in February 2019 and is based in the Wyre Forest, Worcestershire. We are based at The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre, which has plenty of free parking spaces at the weekend. Please just follow the A-Frame signs, which will direct you to parking on site. We have been growing steadily and most months the adult class is sold out. We therefore highly recommend that you register and pay in advance. As we continue develop a core group of drummers, we will be looking to perform at Taiko West’s Midlands Taiko Day in March 2020 and potentially a Summer 2020 performance in Worcester.
For 2020, we are introducing a brand new ‘Challenge Session’. This session is geared towards those of you who would like more of a challenge, with slightly more complex rhythms and learning at a slightly faster pace. If you already play in the ‘Adult Main Session’, do ask us if you’re not sure about your ability and we will give you an honest recommendation.
